The project could be "hottest/most destructive fart". If it is, I would like to see the white paper.

Edit: my thinking being that the chairs would be a fairly consistent medium to test against

I still can't stand her

That's the point of the meme, lol

But also they specifically made her character unlikable. You were supposed to find her irritating in comparison to Walter, who is an objectively worse person. I think that was almost the entire point of her, to make you side with an objectively bad person over the other slightly less objectively bad person.

I think it means they're less likely to be able to identify that the ID photo is the same person as the one standing in front of them. It's the other-race effect, which I understand is quite natural for people of all races that have less experience with other races.

We are an apathetic people. I could easily see that continuing into the 24th century!

If they ever get anything, it will be millions at most. There's no chance the firm will give up any of the real wealth. Good luck to them though, I would love to see some of the fortune actually put to good use somewhere. They don't appear to use it to help anybody here.

I'm not sure what his involvement as a producer was, but I know a producer doesn't "pay the bills". It's a vague enough term that it could mean he was showrunning, writing, financing. Prett much anything. It could be that he wanted the title for awards or it could be that he had many responsibilities including ensuring that the professionals involved were qualified and experienced enough for their roles - from what I remember, the armourer and some camera crew were probably not.

Sorry, I didn't follow this case so I don't know all the details.

I thought it was because he was a producer.

The amount of doubt is reaching extreme levels!

Actually, they're not only judged on appearance.

Some drama is just down to their politics (authoritarian Marxist Leninist in the main), and some relating to their moderation based on politics (bans for users posting articles critical of China, allegedly). You should be able to search and find recent treads, here is one I still had a tab open from yesterday:

https://kbin.social/m/til@lemmy.world/t/171975/TIL-lemmy-ml-is-a-pro-authoritarian-CCP-shill-instance

Another part of this is people's concerns about whether their politics influences their development of Lemmy.

God, I loved RoN! It was like a better version of Empire Earth which, to me, was already like a better version of Age of Empires.

I mostly enjoyed the era changing, my favourite being the Napoleonic era. And I remember it having a good choice of campaigns/scenarios to play.

I thought RoN would spawn a series of titles but I think they just had Rise of Legends which was interesting but definitely not the same.
