The problem is I don’t even know what happened or how the pla got around that silicon sleeve. Part of me just wants to say forget it and continue to print with it like this but I feel like this is just a fire waiting to happen.
Thank you for the advice! I think I’m gonna run with it and put the printer in the closet for a bit.

Filament some how leaked up and burned on. I just don’t have it in me to keep tinkering. I just want to print

[SOLVED] Extruder clicking

Is there any reason that little silver part of the extruder wouldn’t move and start clicking while printing when printing at 205 in PLA. It seems to turn just fine without any filament in there otherwise.
I cleaned out a nozzle clog, but is it possible there’s junk in the hot end stuck?
Resolution: Thanks for your help everyone! It ended up being a nozzle clog that I didn’t get all the way out. I ended up heating the printer up and doing the cool down trick. That seemed to work as a last ditch effort before buying a new nozzle.
Horse. A friend of mine brought some from Iceland and was kind enough to share. Its somewhere between pork and beef to me.
The fermented shark he brought back on the other hand, was the worst thing I have ever tasted. The smell alone cleared the room, and as one chef instructor said, “it smells like dirty pussy”.
They came to Minneapolis a few months ago and I didn’t take my friend’s advice to go see them. I regret it everyday
5 hours of over time a week when I need it. I cant do second jobs and the monetization of things I enjoy makes me loathe actually doing them.

That’s not next, that’s where it began my friend, and I’m happy to see it. Being here reminds me of the wild west days of the net. Smaller amounts of content but enough to keep me busy, and good, civil discussions with people.

First Sail with gear

We loaded up the Hunter 170 today to see how she would sail when loaded down with camping gear in preparation for next weekend’s trip to the Apostle Islands.
My wife is still a bit nervous, but feeling much more confident after today. Please ignore the watering can. She wanted to put a bit more weight onboard just in case.
I don’t get how people put up with that either. My wife said that we were being over dramatic about the 3rd Party Apps protests, but will agree that the ads are annoying. Hopefully she’ll convert over here before to long and get a taste for how a message board should be.
