I always wondered about this with the blind or deaf communities. The deaf community has a very strong culture, identity and language. If we eliminate deafness in children, is that a genocide?

High school sports don't require any sort of hormones. Most sports don't have official hormone-length schedules. But no, the advantage is not "negligible". Height, limb length, joint size, heart and lung size, etc. are all fixed features. There minimal overlap between these aspects between men and women. A 5"10" person is average height for a male, but in the top range for females.

Longitudinal studies examining the effects of testosterone suppression on muscle mass and strength in transgender women consistently show very modest changes, where the loss of lean body mass, muscle area and strength typically amounts to approximately 5% after 12 months of treatment. Thus, the muscular advantage enjoyed by transgender women is only minimally reduced when testosterone is suppressed. Sports organizations should consider this evidence when reassessing current policies regarding participation of transgender women in the female category of sport. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-020-01389-3

And yes, certain "intersex" males should also not be competing in female sports.

because women’s sports aren’t sufficiently appreciated. Yep, the old argument: It doesn't matter because women's sports (i.e. women) aren't important. The feelings of a ______ outrank the fairness in competition of a woman. Look at Veronica Ivy, who decided to take up cycling, dominated it, and casually turned to golf, and is now dominating it. So why isn't Veronica Ivy choosing not to make all that money playing against men?

And as far as I see, women who don't identify as women are still primarily choosing to play in women's sports.

Give evidence for girl has robust features and girl is identical twin to other girl mean the same thing. And you just told me to sit. Now walk? Why are you obsessed with my activity and position?

[–] Komatoes@discuss.online -4 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

No, because I am also referencing girls sports. And those who don't identify as "trans" such as "non-binary" etc. And "biological males" refers to males-by-biology, which now has to be specified as there is no other word that correlates to biological sex.

For all those defending burquas, here is a list of direct health issue they cause (never mind the restricted vision, limited daily activities, etc.) https://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2001/02/niqabs-and-burqas-as-impediments-to-health

Then you require masks that don't impede your vision, cause you to overheat, etc.

How in the world is restricting a dangerous and compromising item that oppresses women a "crackdown on women"?

[–] Komatoes@discuss.online 1 points 1 hour ago

Willingly? How is it that only women are choosing them "willingly"? How is it that only women from oppressive countries are choosing them "willingly?" Burquas are the public oppression and dehumanization of women. They compromise basic human activities and are dangerous. They have no place in a society.

People will accept anything as long as it is only women who are the victims.

Imagine discounting child health when talking about breastfeeding, lol. But again, if you could calm down enough to read what I wrote, and not assume what I was saying, you could probably reply appropriately. Your linked article again, doesn't say anything about "nutritionally identical". It is adequate for co-feeding. And like all of these articles, says the benefit is primarily for the trans woman to feel psychologically satisfied. And if you are in such a rush, maybe you don't need to capitalize every other letter. So, again, please provide a source on "nUtRiTiOnAlLy IdEnTiCaL"

Right, stocks mean that instead of a company benefiting the employees or clients, it has to solely prioritize this third party who is completely detached from the business at all. No good can come from that.

Yes, I do absolutely know that lactation is sometimes induced in women. And you should try to read what I wrote instead of having an emotional reaction. I didn't say they didnt "work" in trans women. I said there is no evidence that the resulting breast mild is "nutritionally identical". And you weren't able to provide any evidence of this.
There is barely any research at all:

Literature and protocols on lactation induction is scarce and merely based on case reports in cisgender women [6–10]. Research focussed on induction of lactation in transgender women is lacking and to our knowledge, only three case reports on lactation induction in transgender women have previously been published [4, 5, 11].>

From your article. And I am sitting, thanks.
