Sir Terry Pratchett.

A phenomenal author whose ability to weave a story is fantastic, but was also adept at writing in jokes and references that make re-reading the novels a delight.

It has nothing to do with suburbia.

It has everything to do with the politics of Thatcher and Reagan. Their policies of annihilating unions, human rights and creating tax cuts for the rich by passing on the taxes to the working and the poor created this dystopian reality we now have.

If we cut out the rich and restore what we used to have for rights and protections, we can try to save ourselves from extinction.

I would like to point out that the image of the cowboy and wild west being the hot and dry southern states isn't that accurate.

The wild west was also Oregon country, now Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska.

In the latter four, even now, if you go too far into the wild unprepared they won't find you.

SSB is toys of those characters. That's why they turn into figures and why all of the items are figures.

And why the final boss is a hand.

Don't use dating apps, they're not worth your time.

If you're a guy you're going to be doing all of the messaging and conversational work almost all of the time.

Just go get a hobby that involves meeting up with people and something will happen organically. Also you'll be happier and get better interpersonal skills.

Not just the bees, all bugs in North America have seen a 75% die off in the last 20 years.

Big shocker that songbirds, which eat those bugs, have also seen a massive die off.

Despite those deniers that still blame housecats, the true culprit is almost certainly pollution and pesticides.

Google: wants to push their browser based DRM, to which they would inevitably be the ultimate controller of, in the name of "safety".

Also Google: intentionally kneecaps the existing certificate system which is the main safety system of the web.

Gee, I wonder if the two are connected.

Fun fact, a group I knew in uni made an end to end encryption program that sent messages through Google more than a decade ago and Google got really, really mad at them threatening to shut down all Google accounts associated with all IP addresses they used.

Guarantee it's not fully E2E.
