I'm sorry you've gotta deal with this. It sucks. I feel like with a lot of technical jobs the hardest part really is the social aspect of it.

A thing that helps me is to consider it part of my job duties, because like you said this will likely happen wherever you go. This shifts these negative interactions from something that just happens to you that you're powerless to stop to an obstacle that you deal with.

Instead of "I solved big problem that most people don't understand. Nobody cares. People still antagonize me."

It becomes "I solved big problem even in less than ideal conditions. I'm proud of myself for overcoming the technical and environmental challenges here. If I can thrive here then I can thrive elsewhere too."

Thank you. Will give em a try!

I buy store brand everything now. It's ridiculous. Have you had a brand name Fig Newton lately? It's sawdust. Ridiculous.

Thank you for making your stance clear.

I think you have some noble ideas. I think we are arguing two different ideas though.

Generally people are paid as a slice of the revenue that their work brings in and not just what they deserve. My argument is that the value that Tom Holland brings to the movie is equal to or greater than his share of the revenue. I feel the same about professional athletes too.

I don't think Tom Holland or professional athletes have to earn less for teachers to earn more.

Not always how it works. Also, the movie would not have been as good a movie without Tom Holland. People don't go to see a movie for the work of "extra #45, #46, and #47". I agree that it's important for crew to be taken care of and the rest of the cast and the contractors but suggesting that Tom Holland didn't earn his pay is absurd.

Of all the problems with Hollywood accounting do you really think it's young actors' pay that is the issue? Do you think athletes are overpaid too?

There's people slurping up the money but it ain't the young employees.

I understand why you would think this. I looked it up. It's not true. He visited the set. His stunt team did NOT work on this movie.

911 doesn't answer on the mesh.

I like RAK hardware a lot and didn't know this existed. I'll probably pick one up now. Thanks.

Absolutely said that about Hilary. The fact that the FBI have been investigating her so much is proof she did it.
