It lets me paste the playlist link but everytime I have tried it, it makes you manually download each song in the playlist rather than automatically doing it. Am I missing the place that you download all or is this how the website is meant to be used?

I have also used doubledouble to mixed success, but sadly most of the playlists that I have tried to download encounter some sort of error which keeps it from being a reliable source.

I am open to any other suggestions for easy "paste the playlist and the site does the work" style sites, TIA

I fear for the day that Something Happens to Vimm's lair. Such a great resource

it's something that I didn't know about until today. started doing the Perma link thing to check- sure enough none of my posts or comments were ever actually posted.

doesn't really make sense because I've never said anything offensive or otherwise controversial, so I'm not sure why I was excluded from participating in conversation

I genuinely don't know which admins would have done it and for which group. I had started a second reddit account after deleting my previous one in an attempt to get away from using it all the time.

Ended up having a question about some thing and made a post after otherwise just lurking in different subs only to never hear anything from it. I figured it must've been because of my low karma, but didn't understand why no one interacted with any of my future comments or posts.

Took me half a year to figure it out😅 just glad to have a reason to finally cut ties

Ha! Right? At least I have peace of mind that internet people don't hate me😂

I've been wondering for a while why no one was responding to anything I was putting on reddit- I was putting different questions into niche community groups and was very shocked to see that no one was interacting.

Today I learned that I had actually been shadowbanned from reddit for some reason. For those of you who don't know, that essentially means that I had been banned from participating in conversation by creating posts or comments, but I had no idea that was the case since on my end it looked like everything was posted and visible to the public. They don't give you a reason though, but since I mostly lurked and the only thing I ever did post wise was try to ask some questions in various hobby groups, I have no idea why I was chosen for a ban.

To say I am angry at reddit is an absolute understatement. I will never darken the doorframe of that platform again, and I am so thankful that we have this platform with much more liberty to converse and contribute to our little communities on the internet.

Thank you all for being here and making the internet a place where open discussions can be held between everyone again.

I'm just glad dat boi is back. I've missed him since high school

are you talking about destiny? I thought we were talking about Kerbal Space Program

dang, that's gotta be the biggest L take in the history of L takes.

Live action remakes, especially in the context of Disney Renaissance films, quite frankly go against the artistry that Howard Ashman had in mind when originally conceiving the idea of making musicals in the world of animation.

I'd rather it stay animated if its all the same, but I'll accept live action, as long as they don't make it as bad as the most recent seasons of the live action series (mostly looking at Kenobi, it put a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't watched Andor or Mando 3 bc of it).

I'm finally getting used to Ahsoka in live action, but there is still some sort of reverse uncanny valley that I feel anytime I see her in Mando or Book of Boba Fett. I miss her animated incarnation and Ashley Eckstein's vocal talents, as well as the general expressiveness of the animated genre.

I had to put electrical tape on my monitors- when you're using multiple monitors in your setup, it's super inconvenient to have to switch each one on and off each morning/evening so it's better to just let them sleep, but when you do that they're just too dang bright.

Also what's the safest/cheapest/possible free(?) VPN you can use to torrent? Thinking about doing that as Direct Download, while nice and more safe, can definitely be time consuming

is it possible to easily setup a way for your jellyfin server to be used outside of your house? For instance, if I wanted to let my grandfather use it with the rokus from his house, or if I wanted to leave the server at my house and still use it from college, could this be done fairly easily without too much trouble?

Or would this be an issue legal wise or difficult to code/network somehow?

to be fair, its not just the GOP. I believe certain Asian countries, including Vietnam, have outright banned the showing of the film.

Still stupid af tbh

I've liked Firefox in the past on school computers, but lately I've been using brave on all my devices.

I love Brave, with its built in adblockers PLUS the ability to install more on top of it, so you can turn one off and still have protection. It feels pretty streamlined.

As someone who pirates stuff pretty frequently too, all of its pop up blockers make me feel more safe.

Should I make a switch to Firefox, and if so, why?

I recently got a 4k TV and so I'm really wanting to watch movies in 4k. They take up so much space that I can't really put them on a flashdrive to watch, and as there aren't any piracy streaming sites with 4k content I was thinking about using an old PC to make a media server on either plex or jellyfin.

My parents, who are okay with piracy streaming (fmovies.to) and even downloading are convinced that if I upload to a personal plex server, that it would be the same as someone uploading to a torrent website somewhere and that I will get swatted and sent to prison.

Is this a valid concern, or is it perfectly fine to upload pirated stuff to plex? Is there any chance at all that you could get into legal trouble for uploading your pirated media on plex?
