Payments don't work, because of the play integrity api. But the bank apps that I use do work, even though they didn't in my previous phone that was running a custom ROM with magisk to hide the tampering. GrapheneOs supplies their signatures so that app developers can support it, but I imagine not all will.

For me it has been a great experience so far. Installation was easy and fast, the privacy settings are great and almost everything works for me just fine. I had a couple of issues that was able to fix by searching for it on their forums, which is quite active

That's not gonna happen. They can't publish private business and personal communications, names and data with the public. The point of hiring an external company is that they audit the case and come to a conclusion, and for the company to be reputable they must not be biased. If you don't believe the conclusion why would you believe the details? They could also be manufactured or cherry picked.

Gears would have to be really well made, otherwise it won't roll well and you would lose speed. I think a better chance would be to use two cylinders and the rope as the belt between them.

Same, running a xiaomi mi 6 since early 2018 with LineageOS and it's still perfect for me. Sure, new phones have better cameras and screen but the difference is not that noticeable. I'm using a google camera app so that improves the pictures significantly so that compensates for my needs

Check out Ladybird tho, from serenity os project (it also works in Linux). It's developed by an open source community, and some companies are sponsoring it's development. It's not at a usable point, but it's development has been impressive. If more money is donated by other companies it could be an alternative, maybe

Same man, I'm following the steps in this video and using this website as an additional practice game

Hope this is useful to you as well!

This is an interesting open hardware and software project for creating a multi fx pedal. The cool thing is that it's fully customizable, new plugins can be created or added from other members of the community, or buttons can be remapped etc.

The guy that made this video has developed some plugins to run some neural network models that imitate real gear (similar to NAM), although due to the limitations of the processing power of the chip they are simplified so they are less cpu intensive. Nonetheless it's a cool project!

Daaamn sagit (xiaomi mi 6) number 3. Writing this from a sagit with LOS, such a great phone. This is why it's great to have community supported roms, this phone hasn't been updated for many many years and would be close to being unusable if it wasn't for them.

I have this phone since December 2017 and I've had no issue so far to make me change. I've thought many times about upgrading, but it's so smooth, camera with gcam is great and new things like quick charging and 5g are things that I don't really need, so I haven't changed yet. I'm afraid of choosing a device that won't be as good as this one and that it won't last as long.

It's sad that community made Roms are less and less popular, I feel like phones are evolving less each year and Roms are a great way to have more control and extend the lives of your phone.

It was, but they were delaying the free period. Right before it was bought I remember they started to stop extending them, so some users had to pay. I know some people that paid, it wasn't much money.
