There are also adjustable mortgages in the US, and as another commenter already pointed out, if rates go down you can always refinance, and you'll have the ability to permanently lock in that lower rate. So I would argue that the Canadian system actually had no advantages at all over the American system.

There's also FHA loans for those with not great credit, and VA loans for veterans. VA loans also allow 0% down

Let's break this down. Plugging these numbers into a mortgage calculator, yes a $600,000 home with a 3% interest rate would be a payment of ~$2024/month. However, this assumes a 20% down payment, $0 property taxes, $0 insurance, $0 HOA etc.

However, an 850k house at an 8.5% interest rate with those same numbers would "only" be $5228/month. Additionally, as other commenters have pointed out, interest rates are not that high.

OP is straight up lying to you at worst, or just cherry picking numbers in a very deceiving way at best.

Not that I'm trying to argue housing is affordable. Just that people will go on the Internet and tell lies to spin a narrative and drive engagement.

Are they eager even with generators?

I am (due to circumstances of my birth) an American, and yet I understood the messages that The Boys were making. I disagree that art should be brought down to the lowest common denominator. Instead, discussions like this bring everyone up instead

I'm not sure how the author's message can be more face up. In the end media literacy is a responsibility of the audience to some degree, and criticizing satire for that which it portrays, or in this case criticizing messaging for that which it mocks is a failure to understand the message.

Buddy you misunderstood the point. The whole show is a massive criticism of both capitalism and racism. The fact that this guy was a caricature was intentional, both in the boys and as a meta statement by the author. It's saying that western fear of middle eastern terrorists is driven by racist propaganda meant to trick people into accepting forever wars to fund the military industrial complex.

Listen I absolutely love rust but it's not even close. Typescript's type system is orders of magnitude more powerful, to the point where it is actually turing complete.

Market share just means what percentage of the market (in this case computer owners) use the product (in this case Linux ).

If you can afford to pay $80,000 for a car, then why are you getting so hung up on having 20k worth of equity in it?
