This isn't even a good photoshop, it looks like it was made in snapchat
This is the result of using black and white terminology for something that is a fluid scale. Square peg meets circle hole (although this guy definitely knows his holes).
"observing changes the result" doesn't mean conciousness attempting to look at it changes the result, there is nothing special about conciousness (in quantum mechanics)
"observing changes the result" means we try to measure atoms and fields but unfortunately our measurement tools are also made out of atoms and fields which interact with the atoms and fields we are trying to measure, giving us a different result than if we don't attempt to measure it
It does bring up interesting questions about what the "real" behavior of reality is tho, since anything we observe is technically different than what it would be if left alone. We can only ever know what a slightly altered state of reality is
Was that knight planning on just charging head first into what he perceived to be a stone castle wall?
I'm gonna make my own (thing)! With blackjack! And hookers!... In fact, forget the (thing)!
it can be used in so many contexts and the last line usually gets a laugh.
I really wish Baldur's Gate 3 had a shared party inventory. It's already partway there, I can still move a potion from Astarion's inventory to Shadowheart's inventory now matter how far apart they are. It'd just be nice if I could save a few minutes of inventory sorting if everyone just pulled from one mega inventory that added everyone's encumberence together. The way its implemented now just adds several unneccessary steps that don't even matter because of the magic pocket system.
this is very ominous without the image
OW2 is free, they're probably referring to buying OW1 only for them to shut it down and rerelease the same exact game but with battlepass characters.

I might be wrong, but aren't whales the target demographic for microtransactions? It's not like the majority of players are buying them. It's a "vocal" minority that make the business model viable via insane spending habits and the rest of us just have to deal with it.
I feel bad for calling in sick because my department is horrifically understaffed and 1 person not showing up for work increases the workload of everyone else by about 50%. And since it's a hospital, it's not like we can just continue working like normal and let the company eat the profit loss; if our department is not working at 100% then innocent people's health suffers.
