The 6yo DM thing is a running thing he's been doing with his kid. Calling him the DM in this context was just continuing the thing.

People said the same thing about the TOS movies. And TNG. And the TNG movies. And DS9. And VOY. And ENT. And the Kelvin movies.

Someone will like it. Someone will get into Star Trek due to it. That is not a bad thing. Let the franchise grow in some capacity. If you don't like it, fine. But stagnation is the death of creativity. If it works, it works. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But you gain nothing but taking zero risks.

1. There is literally zero evidence or suggestion that he likely fucks. Being built fully functional doesn't mean much when asexual people are also built fully functional

2. How is that evidence he fucks?
