Not just 70s and 80s, even 90s and 2000s. I grew up in 2000s thinking it is called Arturito, and I'm sure a lot of people (mostly non fans) think the same.
Silly, but I like those because I can eat bits of it after using them :3
Apocalypse Now. Damn, what a movie.
Great movie. If you haven't, you should check out Arrival (2016).
Google already gains so much money from their data-mining, privacy-violating spree on almost every person on the Earth. For me, they can burn to the ground, and I'll very happily take their service free of charge.
For me, it's not just getting something for free, it is rather a who am I giving this money away?. I'll happily give Lichess, a Lemmy stance, community projects, FOSS projects, etc. my support, financial or not, but Google, a company I completely view as unmoral, can happily go fuck itself.
View it this way: The Coca-Cola Company killed a bunch of workers in my country (Coca-Cola killings) because they were demanding better working conditions, so I'll do as much as possible to prevent giving them money, and making them lose money would be quite nice.
Baseball from the NES is my favorite sports game. The pure joy and fun I get from playing that with a friend has not equal in any other sports game.
Try increasing the FOV. Same thing happened to me with Half-Life.
I've seen the AI claim several times, but I've not seen someone backing up the claim. Do you have a source?
I would like to add a few more tips, based in my experience in an academic background:
-
Don't go back in the presentation to refer to something. If you want to refer to a slide/graphic you already explained, you put the slide/graphic once again, but do not go back several slides.
-
Use big fonts. Text should be clearly readable in any part of the room you are presenting.
-
References and sources should be put as a footnote in each slide, not as a big ass slide at the end of the presentation.
-
Enumerate your slides.
-
Time and flow quality is just as important -or maybe more- than the visual quality. It is a must to stay behind a 10% error margin of the alocated time. So in a 10 minutes presentation, always stay between 9 and 11 minutes (ideally between 9:30 and 10).
There's ways in which a program can detect if it is running in a VM. If Riot made a kernel-level anti-cheat program, they'll surelly also implement this.
You can sell it in the second hand market and save the money. Stonks
