€1.2B fine and the threat of 4% of their turnover as fine if they don't comply with the EU regulations. The EU does not fuck around and is not completely bought like the FTC.

As much as it pains me, and I feel positively biased towards De Vries, I just don't think he has what it takes. His results never came, barring his quali at Monza '22 with Willians and the points that resulted from that one race. At AT he didn't come even close to Tsunoda, and how good Yuki really is remains to be seen imo.

Wouldn't mind some actual drama and rivalries instead of whatever Netflix manages to fabricate. Since Abu Dhabi 2021 everybody has been super okelidokeli friendly with one another. And while I do also like seeing that, it doesn't exactly get the heart pumping during the race. At least Ocon is still a proper cunt, otherwise you could start calling this Barbiela 1.

Not really. Checked it a couple of times, but I'm sticking with Lemmy. Don't miss it, don't need it.

I started having pangs in my lungs around the heart area (like a stinging pain) which went away when I didn't vape for a day. Also, while not having a wheezing breath, I did feel strain on my lungs. It got bad enough that I went back to cigarettes as those only made me cough (well, amongst other side effects of course).

I quit smoking/vaping last year after 22 years of that. Vaping helped my lungs, to a certain extent, because I started having so many other issues from vaping, I switched back to cigarettes before quitting for good. I quit using Defumoxan, which is a brand name for generic pills with Cytisine as active substance. I've been recommending it to anyone wanting to take back their life from nicotine addiction. At least where I live, you can get it without prescription.

Decimal time was introduced in Revolutionary France, just like the metric system and a decimal calendar. They made it non-mandatory after 17 months, partly because of the enormous costs to replace all clocks. The decimal calendar survived longer and was abolished by Napoleon as part of his reconciliation strategy with the Catholic church.

Decimal time is still used by the way. Astronomers use fractional days because it's easier to do calculations with. And that very same ease of use is why Microsoft Excel uses fractional dates to calculate dates, as it requires less calculations.

Yes, it's going to be called Sync for Lemmy and preregistration opened two days ago. It most likely will still be some weeks before it becomes available. Ljdawson stated the target is 6 weeks, so that would be somewhere in the middle of August.
