I swear when I had dial up I could tell how fast my connection would be by the sound of the static. If it didn't sound clean I'd get a crap connection and just hanging up and dialing a different connection number would do the trick.
Good point! They could have even had a period accurate trailer, with that guy with the really deep voice like in movie trailers back then "A game, 20 years in the making..."

Seems historically the posts that do well here are written articles but I don't often read articles. If I'm interested in something I'll find a book and read that because it'll be way more informative than an article likely written by someone who is not an expert.
But I doubt linking books here will do much better.
That said Total Competition by Ross Brawn and Adam Parr, The Chariot Makers by Steve Matchett, How to Build a Car by Adam Parr and Peter Noble, and Surviving to Drive by Guenther Steiner, are all bangers if you're interested in books on cars! Racing and car design for racing specifically.
You change it on your phone and turn off media in the Bluetooth settings for that device. You can then set a routine to turn it on or a widget button via Nova launcher with a lot more effort.
