Just thought of the former Hudson's Bay store downtown. Central location, washrooms, parking. Maybe a bit expensive, but only one floor would be needed.

Absolutely! But it's reassuring to learn that there is a worse singer than me out there.

Yay! Well done!

The tires, mostly. I had one of the early mountain bikes back in the 80s and kept a wardrobe of tires for it. (This was when there was a lot more choice for 26" wheels). The 1.75" moderately knobby ones were for daily commutes, the smoother 1.375" for weekend camping trips with the touring club, the chunky 2.25" knobbies were for the rare occasions when I actually used it as a mountain bike. On Friday night I would swap over for whatever I planned to do that weekend, then change back on Sunday night. I got to be really fast at tire changes after a while.

Remind me to keep the windows rolled up when I sing in the car.

I suppose it was inevitable, but I've had to block a lot of accounts in the last two weeks. Right wing trolls and people who post suggestive pictures that I have no interest in. I suppose in a way, this is a sign that Bluesky is getting more mainstream.

Some are already trying to reverse child labour laws. Why spend money educating poor kids when you can just put them to work?

I tend to hang onto things I've made because of the time and effort it took to make them. Plus, they were cut for my specific dimensions and probably wouldn't be a good fit on anyone who didn't have the same sort of shape.

They got so tired of sashimi and wanted some grilled fish just for change.

Loved the old location in Riversdale. Since it moved to that dreary building out by the airport, half the booths are empty and very few customers ever seem to be milling around.

Where do you think it should be, given that they can't go back to the old location? All suggestions welcome, even really terrible ones.

If he did get through that book, he would probably take notes about Big Brother. "Hmm, great idea!"

Is it hard to do? I am no computer pro.

Fully assembled houses have been popular in rural areas for decades. Whenever I see a fully assembled house trundling down the highway with the wire lift truck in front and the pilot vehicle with the "Wide Load" sign behind it, I wonder why they never use them for new city builds. House movers often work to lift old houses on to new basements in old neighborhoods in Calgary, so they have experience with urban streets.

I may have to replace my old Mac with OS 10.13 simply because most web browsers won't update unless a newer operating system is installed.

Dementia Donny changes his mind faster than he changes his diapers. Just wait a week.

A relative got scammed by a deepfake of a politician apparently promoting a cryptocurrency scheme. This is everywhere.

I would love to have a small electric vehicle, as most of my driving is done inside a small city. The choices are limited and too expensive for my budget.

First safety tests passed

Anyone else got one? I bought a Flextail and it works pretty well. The only drawback is the amount of noise it makes. I top up my tire pressure the evening before a ride, because it could wake up all the neighbours if I used it at 6:00 a.m..

They look just like real hornet nests

Bought used in 2019. Not a Honda or a Toyota, a Dodge Grand Caravan. Given how many examples of the previous Caravan body type I still see on the roads (at least 17 years old), I think I will have it for at least 4 more years. It runs well and I keep it maintained.

It's only annoying quirk is that the "check engine" light comes on for a few days whenever we have a lot of rain and high humidity.

It will be based on summer road construction in Saskatoon. Player tosses the dice, moves to a space on the board that says "Construction ahead, choose a lane". Player picks the right lane, then draws a card from a deck. Wrong answer! You need to filter to the left lane! Go back 4 spaces and wait for a chance to merge!

Another roll of the dice gets you lost in an unfamiliar neighborhood as you try to follow the detour signs.

Fun for the whole family! Except those old enough to drive. Probably.
