Fuck Apple but honestly this app is like trying to stay warm with matches in Antarctica.
Senior Management in much of Corporate America is like a kind of modern Nobility in which looking and sounding the part is more important than strong competence in the field. It's why buzzwords catch like wildfire.
It's always been possible but now it's getting increasingly untenable.
I don't know if you're aware of this but Metric only works in powers of ten. I'm suggesting that's a weakness.
Doing something about all the shootings means economic, political, and social reform and that would inconvenience Billionaires. So instead Democrats will blame guns and Republicans will try to ignore the problem completely because neither will admit that the exploitive economic system they champion reaching it's logical conclusion is to blame.
The Center pursues stricter gun control. The Left isn't opposed to gun control in theory but they encourage people to buy assault rifles and share 'Under No Pretext" memes.
(“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary” ― Karl Marx)
When the US constitution was written, it was assumed they didn't have to spell out exactly how the judiciary would work because the Anglo-Saxon legal tradition was over a millennia old without getting written down (predating statute law) but apparently that assumption was wrong.
You're grasping at straws here bud
I'm familiar with Metric AND Imperial and not just because the US uses a blend but because both science and science fiction have been interests of mine since early childhood. Americans just hate syllables. 4 feet is two syllables while 1.3 meters is 5 syllables. Hell, quarts are almost the same thing as liters just with fewer syllables , same as yards and meters.
I've never wanted to know how many of any unit are in a mile. It's just something I've never had reason to care about. So there's 1000 meters in a kilometer. That's just trivia to me. There's no need to know that.
There were moments when it intensified suddenly. Most recently when their stock was about to go public.
