Hopefully what emerges will be harder to dismantle at least. Especially since it seems there's a vested interest in killing these unified communities.

Our best bet right now is the EU at this point.

My current belief is that it's pretty challenging to completely kill a revanced app.

YouTube has made previous builds no longer work, but revanced seems to update and bypass it pretty quickly. To Reddit's servers it probably just looks like you don't update your client but still use the official app.

I'm curious to see where politicians end up after ditching X. I want to believe that governments could set up their own lemmy/bluesky instances. But my gut is telling me Meta owned platforms will win out due to ease of use and their ability to comply with local European laws.

I know not killing but sleeping with Minthara still allows you to romance others.

So I imagine killing her would just be added security in that case.
