Food storage is like the whole point of agriculture.

I think you should also include the Iraq War. Evangelicals set a lot of their identity in their belief that the War on Terror would be the final Holy War that would bring about the Kingdom of Christ (with them at the top, of course). But instead their holy war turned into an undeniable catastrophe in front of their eyes.

And also Jesus didn't come back like he was supposed to.

Guys, come on. How do y'all not know the conservative's playbook by now? They only have two plays.

  1. They do really evil shit.
  2. They do rage bait shit.

When they do evil shit they don't hide it under 15 levels of riddles. They really aren't smart people. Their really evil shit stuff is like "Here's $300 billion for concentration camps with gas chambers." They don't hide it.

But every single time you guys always reliably fall for their rage bait shit. Every time. They could whisper "God" and your guys lose your minds. Every time. Like clockwork.

A black man was elected president.

Actually if you really read the bill most of the additions are concerning protecting political speech, not religious speech (which was already protected).

So if it's anything more than a political social media bait, then it's about ensuring conservative kids can praise Trump, not God. (But really, it's just bait that you guys are happy to swallow.)

I'm the only one here that actually bothered to look up and read the law.

Well they would also need a series of Judges and a jury to also be in on the scam.

Not saying that's not possible in Florida, but if that's the case then they didn't really need to pass a new law anyway, did they?

I really wonder if Trump actually thinks that the Navy can just put coal in their air craft carrier engines...

I guess my question is more about what constitutes a "truck suv". There is no way that SUV built on a truck frame out number SUVs built on car unibody frames by that much.

Hell with that.

Home the Emperor responsible. He should have invested in the necessary institutions during the fat times to prepare downturns.

Damn straight he lost the Mandate of Heaven and the people should hold him appropriately accountable.

I know this topic, as well as most online topics, is more about emotions than facts. But here we are. You probably don’t understand how Discord's new policy is intended to help protect children because you aren’t trained to think like a child predator. (That’s fine.) I’ve had to take a lot of child safety trainings over the years for professional reasons. Here’s how online child predators work.

They start by finding a kid with a secret. Just like a lion will generally choose to attack the weak gazelle, child predators go after vulnerable kids.

They find the kids with a secret and say “hey want to see some porn?”, and of course the kid is curious. They didn't start with anything bad. This is a process for them. But they will tell the kid, “be sure you don’t tell your parents about this. This is our secret." Then they slowly try to pull into deeper and deeper secrets and start to blackmail the kid. They start to demand that the kid send them nude photos. They trap the kids into deeper and deeper secrets and guilt to get more and more out of them. In the worst cases this results in meetups with the predator in person.

The easiest places for the predators to start this process is porn sites where the kids are visiting in secret to begin with. Especially those on Discord where the messaging between users is the main feature. Those are the kids that are most vulnerable.

How how is Discord's policy supposed to protect kids? The goal is to keep the vulnerable kids out of spaces where they would be targeted to begin with.

So there you go. I’m all ears for how to do this better. That's one beef I have with the EFF right now. They offer no alternative solutions to this. They just didn't want any kind of protections at all.
