So they were forced by the state to collect data on a specific account being investigated for some kind of criminal activity.
I guess I'm kind of wondering what law was being broken, it's not clear from the article that I can see. Anti-gentrification activism doesn't exactly sound like Al-Qaeda, so the bigger story here might be abuse of the justice system.
This doesn’t seem unreasonable at all to me. They have terms of service, and if you break them, they suspend your account.
