A nice analysis of various satellite images that estimates how many cars Tesla has in inventory.

"seen from space" doesn't mean much anymore. I can see my lawnmower on Google maps. With specialized telescopes I wouldn't be too surprised if they could read the VIN off a car from space (would be super cool to see though).
