I have actually encountered those sort of potential differences between ground planes. They can indeed wreak havoc under the right circumstances.
At least on my machine, that link doesn't work unless I explicitly change it to HTTP (no S).

Ahhh is that it? For whatever reason firefox mobile seems to not respect my general android setting and it won't seem to turn off. But in any case, my apologies to the webmaster.
