The two stores are GameStop and Fred Meyer.
I honestly thought you were joking at first lmao. I would've never expected gamestop to carry Blu rays, but I guess it makes sense.
Still not getting my business anymore. Meh.
What, you don’t want to drive 5 miles to a shitty mall to overpay $10 for a half-assed AI upscale of Spy Kids?
Fred Meyer used to have a whole section dedicated to it. But their prices were always the worst. Great news is a bit of an overstatement.
I used to be able to get video games at the movie rental place, now I can get movies at the video game store.
It's... The circle of life...
"will now stock" more like have a corner shelf with 20 different movies. Better than nothing I guess.
The state of movies on physical media in Sweden is now that all major electronics retailers have dropped it. They used to have a pick 2 for 10 type basket over by the video games but thats gone. The really big grocery stores sometimes has a shelf with 5 or 6 of the latest releases usually only stocked with dvd and bluray. I basically have to go to second hand stores to browse physical media. So I order all new releases online. Don’t let this sad state of affairs happen to you!
Home Video (VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, 4k)
On Reddit we have r/dvdcollection, r/boutiquebluray, r/4kbluray, r/steelbook, r/vhs, etc but let's start simply with a community to cover all the forms of home video collecting.
So, do you feel nostalgic for a format? Are you looking forward to a release? Heard any exciting news? Want to show us your shelves? Then post away.
