Welcome to the News community!

Rules:

1. Be civil

Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.

2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.

Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.

5. Only recent news is allowed.

Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.

6. All posts must be news articles.

No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

One thing that I was fascinated about after reading his manifesto is this part right here:

To better understand our form of government, I will point you to one of the most astonishing pieces of stand-alone evidence I’ve found: Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton’s 1988 DNC speech where he nominated Mike Dukakis for president against George H.W. Bush. The speech is a vile, mean-spirited roast of Dukakis that makes no sense whatsoever: For Clinton to ruthlessly attack a member of his own party should have been political suicide, and he repeatedly mocks Dukakis’ noble and earnest qualities.

I went back and watched that speech. It was just a really long list of reasons why he thought Dukakis would be great as president. The only thing approaching a "roast", and not even a mean spirited one, was when he ribbed Dukakis for his loyalty to a non-Atlanta sports team.

So, like... I know this dude is totally out of this world bonkers crazy... but I can't help but wonder what he saw in that speech that he thought was vile or mean-spirited.

Doesn’t name Trump

Pamphlets he threw around were anti-billionaire and antifa

Police feel he was motivated by conspiracy theories and will start the investigation from there

Interesting, however I am a bit confused why you are being so disingenuous and straight up lying. Surely the right wing dogwhistles you used are just a misunderstanding on my part.

One of his signs claimed that Mr. Trump and President Biden were “about to fascist coup us.”

he said his critical views of the American government were shaped by his research into Peter Thiel, the technology billionaire…

“Trump’s in on it,” Mr. Azzarello said on Thursday. “It’s a secret kleptocracy, and it can only lead to an apocalyptic fascist coup.”

It looks like he struggled heavily with mental illness, and shows all the hallmarks of old school deep state conspiracy theorists.

he threw a glass of wine at a framed autograph of former President Bill Clinton

Because that was the story at the time of my summary

Nothing here was antifa what are you smoking ??? Lol

This was classic "globalist" talk, with an emphasis on crypto and collapse.

Didn't downvote, but I can't read it because it's paywalled. What was the motive?

Seems like a manic delusion

Possibly schizophrenia, depending on when the symptoms first began.

TL;DR....

Cryptocurrency was invented to replace money. Covid was invented to steal money and divide the population. Art and media are created to facilitate fascism.

This might sound callous but I support the right of this dickhead to remove himself from the gene pool and would encourage others to do the same.

If you read his manifesto this guy had clear mental health issues. He believed the simpsons was created by “the elites” as propaganda.

It was taken over by the elites. Matt Groening’s original stuff is much, much better than the cash cow that’s still being milked.
