It's been a fun four years since I last had to have these around the house....but alas it's time to bring the potty out once more.

Hopefully he takes to it as well as his sister. I am not confident.

We need to start training soon, any tips?

My wife was determined not to have to clean and maintain a potty for our two, so we avoided it entirely by using a set of foldaway steps that sits on the toilet rim. I don't know what the etiquette is for posting product links but a search for "toilet steps" will show you what I'm talking about. Highly recommend.

Oh these are great and we have a set with a cushioned seat for winter. Sometimes I'd like a set in adult size...

The power of example cannot be denied. A friend of mine once has his son walk in on him on the toilet, so he showed the boy how he does it. From that point on there were no issues.

Mine wasn't so easy. You never know your luck.

once

There are parents who are allowed to use a toilet without being watched literally every time?
