Did anyone else just try to get their fingertips as close to each other as possible without touching?
From a physical point of view, there is no such thing as touch
I like poking my sister and saying I'm not touching her because of the Van der Walls force.
Not with that attitude
Oh man, I never realized I irritate the shit out of people with the kitchen vent!
I don't know anyone else that is bothered by it like me, so it might not be that many people.
I turn mine on and it becomes the background baseline drowning out so much other noise I often forget it's on until a while later when I'm like "why can't I hear anything?" 😂
Right there with you!
My pup is terrified of the kitchen vent because he associates it with burning food and the omg loud fire alarm. He's the only one I know IRL that's bothered by it.
Bathroom fans, on the other hand, bother TF out of me. I've never lived with one that wasn't too loud to run. And I don't have enough spoons to spend a few on replacing my current one with a quieter one, so it just sounds like gravel.
My dog just doesn't like it when I cook. The whole business is too risky and I shouldn't be bothering in her opinion
Mine loves it when I cook because maybe he'll get chicken. He's on a limited diet for health reasons, but boiled chicken is allowed and it's his favorite thing.
The one at my brother’s place doesn’t bother me, but he lives in a brand new house. The one at home? I have to wear my airpods pro on noise cancelling while I cook. Otherwise I end up grating my teeth and getting heart palpitations from panicking without realising why.
Misophonia?
i guess 🤷♂️
Babies crying makes me so irrationally angry and I hate it 😭
I feel personally attacked.
