I'd like to think he's telling her not to worry about Toph. Not that Toph is a romantic interest, but because she is just generally a cause for concern.

If you don’t have a friend that is willing to raise social (and maybe literal) hell on your behalf, do you even have friends?

It's always Ty from the beach episode.

Suki solos and it's not even close

Were Ty Lee and Toph love interests of Sokka's? I don't recall that, though it's been ages since I watched it.

Toph had a very obvious crush on Sokka but never said anything (until the last episode, when Suki saved her from drowning and she thought it was Sokka). It wasn't outright stated but it didn't seem like Sokka reciprocated or was even aware of her feelings.

Ty Lee, on the other hand, was just a huge flirt.

Wasn't that over serpents pass or something like that and not the final episode? It was right at the end though.

"Oh. You can let me drown now" - Toph

Yup that's what I remember. (Rewatched recently)

Not near the end. That was on the way to Ba Sing Se halfway through book 2.

Yeah, that's the one. Been a while since I watched.. guess I could stand to refresh my memory!

I do remember the drowning kiss, that's right. It's been a while since I watched. Maybe I should do my first rewatch.

I think Suki's got this. That said, Ty Lee is very appreciative wolf whistle

Anybody know where I can get the Mandarin dub of the original cartoon? Or anime, I don't know.

Netflix has this new thing, and the Korra one, but the original doesn't have the dub. I don't want to steal it, exactly, I just want the Mandarin audio.
