Every site does cuck protective things like this. Exploding heads disables down voting like cucks.
Votes mean nothing on the fediverse. I can spin up a lemmy instance right now and give my comment 2,000 upvotes. Bots got really bad where as soon as you would post something to the donald you would get like 4 downvotes. Basically as fast as the rate limiter would allow.
It was used to bot attack us. I think it should be reenabled now that we are defederated from almost the bigger partof the fediverse
I like that it's a link to breitbart.com of all websites :D
Oh and also this is usual practice on Twitter they do the same to Mastodon.
They stopped with Mastodon. I believe they only did that for like a few days and only on on a few accounts. After several people quit Elon changed that policy.
Has it been confirmed that Twitter is blocking threads? As far as I know, it's just speculation, we need confirmation from Elon.
I think it has.
I use neither Twitter or Threads though so . . .
