I'm working on a couple of featural number systems (for base 3&12 and base 2&16). It's occurred to me that lemmy is missing a community to talk about such things like (/r/conscript/), so I created one and posted my base16 representation.

I feel like this may be the right place to share this new community. Please bring anything you have visual representations of, from languages to number systems to magic systems or any other symbolic representations I haven't thought of.

Why pick that name? It looks like the subreddit closed 3 years ago, and the conlang/neography subs had many more members

I was totally unaware of these and didn't know where to look. Thanks for the heads up, I'll just close mine in favor of neography.

What instance is that on? I hope it picks up!! Conlanging definitely should have a place on the fediverse

Ah, that would be why I couldn’t find it. If beehaw ever unblocks/migrates off lemmy I’ll be able to join 😅

Yeah, that sucks. I 100% understand why they blocked lemmy.world. It was horribly moderated for a while. I think the instance my main Mastodon account is on still blocks lemmy.world for absolutely solid reasons.

Edit: It does make me consider, though, if I shouldn't merge with neography.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !neography@lemmy.world
