I learned something today... and I'm not better off for having learned it. What a dumb ass virtue signal to use on something.

Well, apparently freeing yourself from porn enables you to make even more silly memes. Probably better to keep doing porn then.

If you think this meme is bad then this will torture you

The prose is weird, but the premise is kind of interesting

DO NOT MERGE

There is a bug causing the government to manipulate the people to serve itself. The bug was discovered after the stock market implementation. Reverting breaks too many newer systems. Absolutely do not merge this into main.

Merged and deployed in 2012. The Mayans were right all along.

USA: The government is the corporations.

Skynet: The government is an AI filled 4chan board.

Borg: The government is the collective.

You make the Borg sound appealing and reasonable.

I don't know this particular project but honestly having your government documents and policies made available on Codeberg/GitLab/Github and available for PRs is actually an interesting idea. The government would still need to be the owners and ultimately decide on what gets merged, but the transparency and opportunity for accessible civic engagement would be kinda sweet.

Huh. I'd never heard of The Venus Project, but it's giving Freedom by Daniel Suarez or Walkaway by Cory Doctorow vibes, except (aspirationally at least) in the real world.
