Ok genuine question: why is it so wrong to teach your kids that??
Evolution is part of biology and science, isn’t it really cool that organisms mutate and look different over time due to eminent factors? Sexuality is part of adult life and safe sex education, exploration of who they are as a person and values of consent and privacy should be an uphold value? Psychology to help them learn how to clear their minds, ground themselves and make more mature decisions in life and how to help others in emotional distress? Witchcraft to learn that the unknown isn’t a scary thing, but possibilities yet unfolded- leading to fun hobbies, open mindedness and connection to others/nature?
Idk, we rather teach them evolution, sexuality, psychology and witchcraft far before we tell them anything about Sky-Diddy’s rape child
Evolution basically contradicts the religious teachings that the earth was created by a deity or deities. Of course, that will undermine the millennia old beliefs and the power structures built by religion, if their core beliefs and worldview is turned out to be false.
Because to the white Christian nationalist (and the US for most of its history) education is not about raising a child to become a healthy, functional adult, it's about indoctrination and control.
There was one moment in time after which the US decided it better start teaching critical thinking, up its STEM game, and stuff the kids' heads with liberal arts. One singular event.

This is a common anime trope. I read that threatening kids with going to hell is now considered child abuse--in Japan.
Then there's always the classic history of the Children's Crusade. I don't know any rationally minded person that would say, yeah that's a good idea.
These people are scared by knowledge, they are the exact opposite of what defines us as humans

So how exactly is the devil teaching people stuff if God has to rely on random people writing down his word with hundreds if not thousands of years between and often very much changed?
Like this makes God sound like he doesn't have the power or resources available to satan.

I’m just going to imagine there’s a giant ass crucifix, a Bible. Holy water looted from the Catholics (who slate almost as bad as the witches. But they make good holy water,)
