Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.
Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

I mean, its gonna happen either way lol
And after turtle violently overthrew the government and put himself in power, he ruled as an enlightened ruler who never let the power go to his head and never started persecuting those who he perceives as threats.
Turtle and their gang set up worker assemblies to collectively decide the direction of their community, and peacefully ceded all power to all the people, thereby ensuring that no one person could overthrow their direct democracy
Yeah, that's totally how these things go.
That was turtle's undoing. Everyone knows you need to suppress political descent once you assume power. Then slowly start slipping into madness because hierarchies are for the birds.
Look at this dude, believing in "birds"
So you're saying the pigeon should rule us, eh?
Bonus points for having a couple of wives beheaded.
I love Mr Lovenstein comics (name removed from this comic for some reason) but he didn't have to go to this trouble when the Anakin/Padme meme already exists.
Found this image without te credits, added!

I wish I had a shell. I have to rely on aikido instead. The other stuff I have already
May I interest you in a 57 mm shell?
Hmm, that may be effective too
If the government is agreeable to a peaceful disbandment, sure.
If they're not... Then no.
"Those that make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable."
JFK said it. MLK said it.
Whatever happened to those guys?

don't say anything, turtle
No snitching, turtle
In a beatling like mine, Norway, I dont think armed rebellion would make sense (initially), but I think as people remove themselves from the coggery, the coggery will act increasingly oppressive. Thats when gerilja forces will be necessary. We need to be prepared for that moment.
However, I believe norwegians in general are fully committed to might as a method of change. It is not even taboo to question the legitimacy of the so called democratic institiution.
But we do have a spirit of commons, we just think that it has to be intertwined with the coggery.
Isn't that what Mario Savio basically said, "throw your body upon the odious gears so your body can act like a kinder, gentler gear"?
Give the Norwegian guy a peace prize.
I'd love if that were possible
Edit: I fear people are misunderstanding my comment. We can and should dismantle the government, I would rather we do that peacefully but don't think that's possible.
Haven't a few people almost managed to send trump back to hell?
