As little Donny Two-Scoops has taken us to war with Iran, this makes his statement literal treason.
We have a treason-spouting Republican for president. If you're older than your twenties or so, that's one of those statements you just have to let sit and soak for a minute. For all their faults—and they are legion—the party has always cast itself as defender of America's ideals. Yet a Republican president is spouting literal treason, and the response from his party? Crickets.

They seem to be cheering for it.
Iran seems smart enough to not do his bidding. It sure is pretty fucking sick that he can say it without consequences. It’s certainly worse that even a single person cheered.
I hope Iran gets to him. There has been too much fucking around and zero finding out.
No taxation without representation. No one should have to pay a government that actively flirts with their firey deaths.
America first! Or something like that.

Clearly reprehensible, but consider for a moment. Los Angeles and San Diego, at least 20 years ago, were the Republican voting big cities in California. Even if Republicans are not getting that same share of the vote now, there will be many Republican leaning people there. It seems just a shade worse on an already pitch black message.

San Diego is a major Naval base.
It's home to the Pacific fleet.
I'm sure they're thrilled that the President is encouraging foreign powers to take them out.
