Rather a lot harder to draw.

However: dragon.

Dragon is an incredibly compelling argument.

YES! THIS!! THIS IS HOW I PICTURE IT IN MY HEAD!

THANK YOU SO MUCH OP!

It'd be really funny if that actually happened, because Mini would have to redesign their tail lights to add a half dragon on either side.

I see your point, and raise another:

imagine if instead one big dragon, there were four dragons - same white outline red dragon, scaled down, on the four red arms of St George's cross, facing the center.

Cons:

  • 60% smaller dragons

Pros:

  • 300% more dragons

Make the bottom two blue triangles green to pull the welsh flag in

If we're going to include Wales (and I believe we should), we ought to do it consistently with the other constituents countries. Counterchange the St David's cross with the St George's one like how the St Andrew's and St Patrick's crosses are counterchanged

Those black lines invoke something else.

Belgium, if my Belgian friend's opinion is anything to go by

[–] BCsven@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 days ago

Nice. I like it.

Shouldn't the dragon be taking a dump on Buckingham Palace?

[–] Skyline969@piefed.ca 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Do the Welsh have something against dragons?

[–] BCsven@lemmy.ca 19 points 4 days ago (1 children)

No we love Dragons, being associated with the Union Jack is another issue

Not that I don’t agree with the Welsh - they have a beautiful country with a rich culture and history worthy of distinction - it has been 743 years since England conquered Wales, 323 years before the Union Jack was even a thing.

Iechyd da, ffrindiau.
