The downvotes, lmao.

Its pretty much just FSR4 for RDNA2 with Playstation branding.

Like fuck AI, DLSS5 and Sony's recent shitty decisions.

But its just a better upscaler for the base PS5. Chill tf out.

Agreed. Regular (not modifying the source) AI upscaling is great for consumer product longevity and performance.

It’s how I recently got 4K 120fps when I hooked my PC to a TV. It’s also how someone with an older GPU can play newer, more graphically intensive titles without having to buy an upgrade.

If it’ll have similar results for PlayStation, I have no idea, but it’s not a bad technology.

PS5 literally already has AI upscaling so that headline is kinda misleading. It has its own FSR/DLSS type thing going on. You can even use it on PC if you use something like Optiscaler and get the files for it.

PS5 Pro has PSSR. Base PS5 had what kind of AI upscaler already?

You can use PSSR in Optiscaler? Could you point me in a direction because i cant find anything regarding this claim?

From the video, it looks like it sharpens background images of landscapes and buildings. That's fine, I guess.

Where these usually fall flat is when they uncanny valley faces.
