Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?
Rules:
- Do not post good posts.
- Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
- Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
- This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

Did you know you can check the modlog. It will usually contain reasons why things were removed. Your own modlog is available in the web from any comment or post by opening the extra's menu (the three dots) and clicking on "[Username] Moderation History." You will also find a button for the specific comment or post so you can see why it was removed. Otherwise you can scroll to the bottom of the web page and click on modlog.
Apps I don't know about.

Oh yeah I know. But “no” doesn’t really give me enough information and I kinda have to worry about each and every comment or post getting yeeted.
I just checked your modlog and yeah, the reasons are complete garbage. I'll go hiss at the mod for doing a bad job.

You don't have to do that. But what I don't understand is, this is badposting, so all the comments are understood to be bad comments right? Like, do I really have to put /s after every sentence even in this community, where nothing's sposed to be taken seriously?

Except when it isn't. The norms are very selectively enforced and when you have mod explanations like "No" being used on jokes that are on the same level as stuff that is also allowed how the fuck is anyone supposed to know what is and isn't okay?
Ya this is my biggest problem. The people here are some of the nicest peeps I've met on lemmy, but, to quote iasip: "What are the rules?". I feel like some leniency should be given considering where we are. And even if not, just the simple "No" makes me quite queasy.
i'm starting to feel very bad about this post so it wasn't a total loss

Hi I'm the one who just said "no" and for that I'll admit to being shortsighted.
