Ask these folks if they have a better idea. They never do and always fall back to capitalism, even though weโre all witnessing capitalists fucking up the entire planet. They wonโt even entertain the pieces of a whole as good ideas. Itโs either all or nothing. Theyโve already skewed the argument in their favor because of capitalist propaganda influence.

It never ceases to amaze me just how incapable the average person seems to be of imagining something better than the status quo.
They literally don't though? Most people often express the need for socialist policies and embrace the "chain is only as strong as it's weakest link" mentality. What are you talking about?

Isn't that the majority of what you post on political memes? To be fair to you, that's really all political memes are for, to provoke a response. The meme itself is far less important than the possibility for it to spark a discussion in the comments.
I hear anti-communist nonsense at work sometimes and this is what it feels like. "Commies tried so many times and it always fails!" (literally ignoring coups and regime changes, AES, that capitalism might kill us all, sex trafficking, etc)
Communism didn't "fail" so much as it "lost".
And to be clear, while the dissolution of the Soviet Union was devastating, there are still strong socialist states like China today. Communism didn't lose, it took a major blow temporarily.
My favorite is when people admit it works in small groups but doesn't scale. It's an amazingly defeatist attitude.
The problem stems from centralization. A commander sits at the top of trillions of people is fundamentally wrong, no matter how good he or she is. No one single human shall have that big of an influence to another human.
But those fucking defeatists are disgusting. No one is asking them to solve the problem. Just shut the fuck up when someone else is solving the problems. That's the least they shall be doing.
To be fair, the idea that someone is supposed to sit at the top of society is a fundamental misunderstanding of socialism past, present, and future.
Didnt capitalism take centuries to triumph over feudalism? There was embrionary capitalism in the XV or XVI century, and when the Russian Empire was liberated in 1917, it hadn't yet completed its transition from feudalism.
Yes. And as an example the French had a long history of going between republic and monarchy. Things don't go perfectly linearly.
