It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

I applied to Ambrook several months ago. They recently decided to start a newsletter and tapped into their applicant pool for emails to add to their list without consent.
Furthermore their large "Unsubscribe" button is set to link to () while the small "Email Preferences" link is prepended with " /http" so it doesn't resolve properly.
After those 3 strikes it's hard to give them any benefit of the doubt, but at least the small "Unsubscribe" link was properly formatted.
There is a worry from cyber security teams about unsubscribe buttons on emails. Linking to a dead site was probably the best thing they can do. Phishing a real issue. I have been auto junking messages like this but unsubscrive would be better if we could trust it and it actually stoped everything.
I've told users to junk everything to our proofpoint vendor, it's not worth getting struck with a clever unsubscribe link. I think it would be a good cybersecurity test email to see how many people click it, I'd wager it's more effective than some of the piss poor phishing attempts we get, and we're pretty heavily targeted.
Gmail has an auto unsub feature, as do a lot of providers now. It effectively does the unsub for you if it complies to standards and then blocks the email and reports it to can-spam if it continues.
Poisoned "unsubscribe" link? Ohhh that's evil
