I'm not endorsing anything, but making a public statement that you hate your country, your neighbours, and everything they stand for and enjoy watching them suffer is going to provoke a reaction.
They're from the U.S. and emigrated to Canada. At worst, they're getting the tiniest of taste of what foreigners who've emigrated to the U.S. face from MAGA.
I stand by what I said. If they chose to come and settle here, and then have the audacity to support an active foreign threat from the place they left, then they earned what comes next. A reporter wanted to see how people are effected by showing their political beliefs and so had her son wear a maga hat for a day. Let me tell you he was yelled at, spit on, harrased, and assaulted. She was really worried about what would happen to him when he left the house.....

In fairness they weren't actually threatened with arson. The story notes that it was discussed online; discussing that a person should have their house burned is very different from an actual threat. Unless he has recieved targeted communication saying "we'll burn your house down dude" he hasn't been threatened.
What we have here is a schoolyard bully crying to the teachers as soon as anyone makes them sad.
