Weymouth parkrun has canceled its Aug. 22 and Aug. 29 events after reports of participants making contact while passing each other on the course. Some were tripped, the organizing team said. Capping the field is not an option available to it, because parkrun’s guidance for volunteers states that its events are unable to limit participation numbers.
