/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

The unmistakable voice of H. John Benjamin (Bob's Burgers, Archer) appeared in the Short Trek: The Trouble with Edward. Seems he's the one responsible for the "ecological menace" of tribble proliferation. Don't know if it's considered canon, but I can live with it.

Some classic era Adult Swim.

Just finished binge-re-watching Birdman. Time to get me some Space Ghost, coast to coast!

I really tried, but I could not enjoy that show. I gave up during the first season, which is pretty rare for me.

yeah, because it's the first season.

check out this scene of Coach trying to teach himself bartending after getting kicked out of bartending class.

One of my favorite roles from him was the clerk in Family Guy

You guys like impressions?

Krull today, bald tomorrow.

The aesthetics of that character are fucked. THIS is the head of the fucking Space Terrorists, the guy with a name out of a Jane Austen novel, and a haircut that makes Franklin's yee-yee ass haircut look like the world's first nanofillament fade?

Don’t know if it’s considered canon, but I can live with it.

I say Short Treks is just as canon as Discovery. Whether or not you consider Discovery "canon" is up to each individual, but if you consider that show canon, you should consider Short Treks canon as well.

The episode is canon. The tribbles cereal commercials… maybe not.

Hey, at least one of the short short treks let me know that Dana Synder (thus, Shake and Grandma Cuyler) are also part of this

That short was barely Star Trek

I saw a crossover cosplay at STLV. One Bob and one Linda.
