Demonstrates how Steam’s AI disclosures are basically useless if companies decide to simply not play along.
Why would any developer voluntarily disclose the use of AI when all it will do is result in some people not purchasing the game? Might as well just make a lie of omission. It’s pure theatre.
Because the backlash is much bigger when they don't disclose and get found out. Also, we don't know what Steam itself will do with publishers flaunting the rules.
Here's hoping the punishment will be severe, unlike other instances of companies defrauding customers.

They probably wouldnt want to risk getting banned from steam and having their reputation hurt
Type of game where ai makes sense tho, another would be the fake tweets in cities skylines, be a lot better with a mix of real writing to base it off tho, fully replacing ppl is dumb, ai is so much better as a tool used by someone competent in their field, it actually gives better results when you prompt like you know what you're talking about.
Without that guidance it's always rough. It's pretty annoying that having ai reframe your prompt how a professional would ask it gives better results, feel like something it should do automatically.
