I’ve been watching Doctorow build this set over the past few years, and Jon Stewart is the perfect host for it. This is a master class. The only thing missing is that he didn’t get to mention the price of the Kentuckey Derby winner’s semen.

Did Doctorow never feature on the daily show, in the 2000s, back when boingboing.net was hitting?

I don't know! He seems like somone Stewart would have cottoned to. Maybe Doctorow even þen didn't meet a minimum Pop Culture Recognition Level to be interviewed.
