  1. Respect the community. If you're not into self-deprecating/dark/suicidal humor then this place isn't for you. Kindly just block and move on. This is just how some of us cope.

  2. Respect one another.

  3. All titles must begin with 2meirl4meirl. This is for multiple reasons. One is just so you can be lazy with titles but another is so people who aren't into this kind of humor can avoid it.

  4. Otherwise just the general no bigotry, no dickishness, no spam, no malice, etc stuff.

You write it down to get it out of your brain. That's one fewer variables you're storing in memory. Who the fuck cares where you keep the note - you'll never go back to it.

So… you write it down to forget it. Seems effective to remove distractions. Less effective to actually remember it, if it’s actually important.

I've been living with ADHD a long time. One of the most important things I've learned is that when I'm trying to hold on to everything, it becomes impossible to determine what's worth holding on to. When you stop trying to remember everything, you're able to live in the moment and it becomes clear again what's worth writing down.

I write all my notes in the same notebook that I reference throughout the day to remember all the shit I need to do. It's worked pretty well. My coworkers frequently mention how on top of shit I seem to be.

Its not easy to ignore the mess anywhere on my side or my partner's side of the room. I have to try really hard to turn away from it

Isn't this the same for everyone or at least the majority or people ?

I don't mean to offend anyone by this, I might just be too ignorant on the subject.

Paper is useless, it doesn't bips and lights up like phone reminders
