Be nice to each other. Being aggressive or inflammatory towards other users will get you banned. Name calling or obvious trolling falls under that. Hate cars, hate the system, but not people. While some drivers definitely deserve some hate, most of them didn't choose car-centric life out of free will.
No bigotry or hate. Racism, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, chauvinism, fat-shaming, body-shaming, stigmatization of people experiencing homeless or substance users, etc. are not tolerated. Don't use slurs. You can laugh at someone's fragile masculinity without associating it with their body. The correlation between car-culture and body weight is not an excuse for fat-shaming.
Stay on-topic. Submissions should be on-topic to the externalities of car culture in urban development and communities globally. Posting about alternatives to cars and car culture is fine. Don't post literal car fucking.
No traffic violence. Do not post depictions of traffic violence. NSFW or NSFL posts are not allowed. Gawking at crashes is not allowed. Be respectful to people who are a victim of traffic violence or otherwise traumatized by it. News articles about crashes and statistics about traffic violence are allowed. Glorifying traffic violence will get you banned.
No reposts. Before sharing, check if your post isn't a repost. Reposts that add something new are fine. Reposts that are sharing content from somewhere else are fine too.
No misinformation. Masks and vaccines save lives during a pandemic, climate change is real and anthropogenic - and denial of these and other established facts will get you banned. False or highly speculative titles will get your post deleted.
No harassment. Posts that (may) cause harassment, dogpiling or brigading, intentionally or not, will be removed. Please do not post screenshots containing uncensored usernames. Actual harassment, dogpiling or brigading is a bannable offence.

Transit would be free for anyone 65 and above. You can say he should have had his licence taken away a long time ago, but how is someone that age meant to get around without it.
Give people a genuine affordable alternative to driving and that will get dangerous older drivers off the road.

American infrastructure makes it so one has to depend on the car for everything. Doctors appointment, out of milk, want to take your dog the dog park? Get in the car.

No shit scares the fuck out of me. I work for USSA insurance company the amount of 80 years they insure who can't even remember their fucking own birthday much less should be still driving are to goddamn high.
But dealers still will take their money and they will call me trying to add a new car and we spend 20 minutes of 30 second procedure trying to Authenticate these people. How fuck are they allowed to still be driving on the roads?

The US, maybe everywhere else, does this routine where something bad happens, people say it's tragic, and stops. No root cause analysis. No steps to prevent it from happening again. Just thoughts and prayers and that's it. It's infuriating.
There are many complex problems that are going to be uncomfortable to solve. We are all going to suffer before it gets better. But we should demand better. We should demand that the rich help or get out of the way.

80+ should have yearly tests designed specifically to weed out the dangerous ones.
That would be much better than what we do now, which is nothing.
Not everyone over 80 is a dangerous driver, we can't just set a hard limit, even though that would be easier, and perhaps more satisfying to younger people.
Yes, public transportation would be a better solution, but it's more expensive than voters who vote want to pay for. So, if you're young and want better public transportation in your town where you live, then you need to vote in local elections. Almost no one votes in my small city, and those who do are mostly older, so we don't have nice things here.

I also support retesting people every ten or so years and taking licenses away from people who are too old to react in any meaningful way to the road.

Only if the process for renewing the license was more involved than you saying "give me another one" and paying a fee.
But that would entail having more employees to administer the tests, which would require more funding, and God knows you can't actually charge drivers for it because drivers need to be subsidized by everyone else all the time
