Seems like a stretch. We are shown multiple times that the Avatar as a concept and the person are different entities. Aang in the show only showed interest in girls and Korra was bisexual.

She was in relationship with Mako (the firebender dude) and the ending heavily implies she gets in a relationship with Asami which the creators confirmed to be true at a later date.

Doh. I confused Korra with Katara. Yeah, that was quite on the nose.

same lmao, honestly i don't understand why they'd name the new protagonist so close to the previous protagonist's spouse.

as far as we know in his entire life he had exactly one romantic interest and any flirting he did was with also femme characters. of team avatar if anyone's pan it's Toph strictly because she's not gonna let some made up gender binary tell her who to be attracted to, she won't let anyone tell her what to do

I think it's because the avatar has been all sexualities at different times.

I'd say the Avatar as an entity is pansexual then, but not Aang the person.

Still a funny Brand New Sentence though!

The Avatar before him was Roku, not Kyoshi.

I would still watch whatever the fuck is described in the picture.

Reincarnating in this context refers to summoning her (he went into the avatar state and allowed her total control) rather than he being her next birth.

I'm not sure if I'll buy that, but I was only nitpicking anyway.

Minor corrections:

  1. Aang may or may not be straight, we just know he came from a culture that didn't stigmatize homosexuality

  2. Kyoshi was almost definitely bisexual. She seemed very attracted not only to Rangi but also to Yun, and furthermore we know that at some point in her life she had a child, which may have been adopted but was more likely just from a relationship after Rangi's death of natural causes (which would be like 150 years before Kyoshi's death)

  3. As much as ignorant people (ignorant in-universe I mean) like to make fun of it, the Kyoshi Warrior uniform and makeup are not drag. There's no rule that men can't be Kyoshi Warriors and no alternate uniform guidelines for men. It's just a unisex uniform

  4. Aang isn't vegan (unfortunately). He is okay with the exploitation of animals for products that don't directly require their deaths such as milk.
