But she feels the way the museum describes the related history on panels in the exhibit is missing context.

While the displacement of Jews in the wake of Israel's creation and the Arab rejection of the UN resolution are acknowledged elsewhere in the museum, Asper said she fears not having that context included in the Nakba exhibit could fuel antisemitism.

Gail Asper's foundation is withholding money for a Holocaust exhibit to punish the museum for not making a Nakba exhibit about jews enough. Might as well complain that the trail of tears isn't about colonial settlers.

Well perhaps they should make the display permanent and expand it to include more and more content. They could talk about Oct 6th in Gaza, they could talk about Israel in it too. Maybe Operation Cast Lead in 2008 or talk about the terrorist Stern gang in 1940. The well poisonings, the massacres and even the modern day pogroms against the inhabitants of the West Bank.

This is why these rich motherfuckers chose to donate to such causes. They don't see it as a donation, they think they're buying a museum to showcase whatever they want.

It's such a broken system that our public institutions rely on "philanthropists", whether it be libraries, museums, and especially hospitals.... just tax these fuckers properly and fund our instititions like a normal society

Suggested new title: "Rich, overly privileged hateful twits make public arguments for taxing the rich."

FTFY

"Philanthropist" is not the term to describe these people. Tax dodging oligarchs?
