Since this is a selfhosting sub can you actually explain how you're hosting it?
Freenet matrix blowing up after the recent futo video or is it always that active
Nothing new just a 50min talk about the project and how to use it. I tried it, it was easy to setup and was fast compared to other altnets. There wasnt much on it, a chat app, a few sites, mail, git the usual. Technically interesting and I will follow it but i dont see myself learning how to develop apps for it.
afaik I2P was forked from Freenet. I wonder what makes that big of a difference in performance.
Forked off the old freenet. The new freenet is much faster I was sending and receiving chat messages with under a second of latency and there were a hundred people in chat.
Freenet
Now there's a name I haven't heard in a minute.
how do i request my server and its channels be removed from your site?
https://activematrixrooms.com/faq Ban @jykrwn_bot:matrix.org
I did so earlier this month and my channels are still listed on your site, showing 0 activity.

Yes good, then it will no longer be able to track the message count in your room.
You should probably make them private so no one can find them at all. If you make a room public, anyone can find it using something like this, not just myself, public decentralized protocol.
I'd like you to de-list my channels. What's the process for having the channels on my server removed from your index? Because right now all you've made is matrixrooms.info with less consent.
