This is hilariously timed considering the current panic at the hacked instances.

Not much. Just that lemmy[.]world instance was hacked

Someone pulled off a js injection attack, where they put javascript into some comments or messages that would get executed by others seeing it in the web interface. The js sent the session cookies to the attackers, who got some admin sessions that way and took over lemmy.world for a bit. Given they only got the logged in session on the webinterface the damage was likely contained (i.e. no data stolen for example)

Yep, Sunday scaries. Time to languish all the things you didn't get done going into a fresh week of new shit to get done on top of your leftover tasks. Sleep tight!

I feel this with my soul.

Do people still use Netflix? I've been using Pluto and Roku almost exclusively for like the last year and I don't miss Netflix at all. They have commercials but they're free.

I am at the point in my life where I will gladly pay $15 (or whatever) to not watch commercials. I just got back from vacation where we watched some cable TV in our hotel room and the amount of commercials that were targeted towards senior citizens astounded me.

Can I crosspost this to me_irl? It's very much me_irl

Pretty accurate I must say, considering I'm away from my city because of work this weekend.
