Oh my goodness! I used to cyclepack when I lived in a place more hospitable to it but it was largely on roads and maybe stone dust trails.
This is truly adventurous.
For all the pedal pushers out there that love long distance cycling. There are no gear requirements and no 'minimum distances' here.

Gotta find some way to feel alive. ๐ค My brother and I were both able to pull our bikes up solo on the other side. Mine is a lot heavier though. ๐ซช
Having a partner makes cycling challenges feel so much more manageable, for me at least! Sounds like you are having a fun time and that rules.
Safety and story sharing, 2x is better. The landscape by bike is so much more human than by car.
Getting up the other side looks like ... a challenge. To say the least.
Had to dismount, cut better steps into the hill with the cathole shovel and drag it out. Not comfy but manageable.
Digging the cockpit, would love to see a full pic if you have one!
Is the thing on the rainbow band a watch or a compass?
Watch! Fail safe for route/timing purposes when I have to contend with a day that went off the rails and night is approaching.

If die we must, might as well die having fun.
