While the scalpers struck quickly, AMD might end up foiling their plans, as the company says it will continue mass-producing the Ryzen 7 5800X3D Anniversary Edition to ensure supply stabilizes over time.

Scalping isn't a job, you aren't smart for doing it, only complete trash with no morals do it.
Fuck you if you scalp.
I'm more of the hate the game mentality. Valve came up with a system to seriously limit the impact of scalping, and it's not the only system that's been used.
AMD could have addressed the problem if they actually cared to. I'll hate them instead.
No, always hate the scalpers. You van hate the companies that don't do anything to combat scalpers as well, but scalpers are always in the wrong
When things got cheaper over time scapers didn't have a chance. It would be idiotic, because the manufacturer themselves will sell you the product cheaper a few months/years after that.
But we live in a screwed up reality where old products get more expensive as time goes on. So being a scalper is profitable. Specially giving the apparently stock shortages that exist in every single product out there.
This timeline is just rediculous. I was really waiting for it as I'm staying on the DDR 4 platform.
RIP me ever getting that upgrade. I was ready for it too.
I can't justify the expense going from a 3950x
Depends if you need those cores more than the gaming performance, which is very personal. I ended up going from a 3900x to a 5800X3D a few years ago cause i ended up not using the extra cores. I thought my 3000 series was still going pretty strong, but i was surprised at how much the 5800X3D improved things. Especially in CPU-heavy games it was huge.
