I feel sorry for his bulldog. The wealthiest senator leading one of the poorest and neglected states in the USA.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 5 hours ago

The bulldog is there to make him seem humanish.

It's the real Holden Bloodfeast!

He's one of the good ones!

He hasn't raped even one little kid. o7

(women and bulldogs... no comment)

What a horribly ugly ass creature, bet it shits itself anywhere it goes and fucking humps any woman in its wake.

Hope the cute baby doggy gets a better owner, they don’t deserve such filth

[–] BreadOven@lemmy.world 1 points 9 hours ago

Not gonna lie. You had me there haha.

he sounds like somebody who's really in touch with my concerns and cares about my community

lol

I can't imagine a person more for the people than a person with hundreds of millions of dollars. Are you worried about the cost of milk? Why didn't you become a hundred-millionaire if you cared so much about milk?

People are so lazy.

How can he be a business owner AND a politician? That's a clear conflict of interest.

*How can he be a business owner AND a politician?

Because voters trust him.

https://www.propublica.org/article/this-governor-still-guides-his-billion-dollar-business-empire-even-though-he-said-he-wouldnt

The real question is why do they trust him?

[–] modernangel@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago

they don't - it's not about trust, it's just spitefully gravitating to whatever "makes liberal heads explode".

[–] Shindo66@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

They probably trust him because their livelihoods are tied to coal, the same as him. He probably makes bold statements about keeping coal flowing and jobs going.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

That’s a clear conflict of interest.

I'll give you one guess at which party he's a member of and how little they care about conflicts of interest.

Hint: It's the party currently directly violating our Constitution by allowing the president to blatantly violate the Emoluments Clause.

Reminder: They are only able to do this because voters keep giving them power, despiteconstantly providing us reasons why we shouldn't.

[–] timbuck2themoon@sh.itjust.works 1 points 14 hours ago

That and non voters refuse to do anything to curb this too.

[–] crunchy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 23 hours ago

Because we can trust them to run the country like a business: straight into the ground.

[–] aaa999@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

bad people made the wrong moral choice voluntarily to give him power

[–] PugJesus@piefed.social 18 points 1 day ago

Fire the Senator, replace him with his dog.

[–] blazeknave@lemmy.world 3 points 20 hours ago

Does he fuck the dog or make his wife do it?

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Hey y'all. He's a member of....

Aww fuck it. We don't even need to look it up. We already know which party he's a member of.

He doesn't deserve a dog like that.

The state of WV is full of it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to change the votes or general attitudes of many mountaineers and their politics.

Eat the rich!

[–] schwim@piefed.zip 8 points 1 day ago

A fat white old man hoarding wealth while running the country into the ground? That's so rare.

[–] pomegranatefern@sh.itjust.works 3 points 23 hours ago

"Aww, cute dog!" reads caption "Oh."

[–] actionjbone@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

Even evil men might be kind to animals sometimes.

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

What a disgusting, slobbery, drooling, farting, affront to the basic precepts of nature.

The dog seems nice, though.

[–] GeorgeLightning@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

An ENGLISH Bulldog?! Revoke Jim's citizenship immediately!

[–] lime@feddit.nu 2 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)
